WHAT? An online service for renting municipal harbour berths and winter storage spots for your boat. The service also makes it possible to switch berth locations.

WHO? For people who enjoy boating and own boats in Helsinki.

WHY? The service makes it possible to arrange boat berths and winter storage for your boat at your convenience, from your home, any time of the day or night. Earlier, boat owners in Helsinki had to pay a visit to the Töölö Sports Hall and fill in a paper application.

WHEN? The online service for securing boat berths was launched in January 2019, and was soon expanded to cover berth switches and winter storage arrangements. Starting sometime in 2020, the service will introduce electronic invoicing and a new process for automatic berth distribution.

WHERE? Find the service in English at venepaikat.hel.fi
